The ZOC Clinical Research Center (CRC) is an outpatient, research-only unit within The Sun Yat-sen University ZOC hospital complex, located in Guangzhou, China. ZOC is the leading training, research, and tertiary eye care center in China, with a national and international referral base. Over half a million outpatient exams and 30,000 surgeries are performed there each year.

The mission of the CRC is to improve patient care through research, by promoting and supporting innovative clinical investigation at ZOC. To achieve this, we strive to provide investigators with the necessary resources to conduct safe, efficient, high-quality clinical studies, and to facilitate the development of national and international research collaboration.
